First, you put Greensburg in DECATUR County. Shucks, it's just the
county seat.
The LDS' Family History Centers can order microfilms and microfiche for
you for a small fee from Salt Lake City. You then go to that FHC and use
their viewers to read the data. Their whole catalog is available online
at
www.familysearch.org. At that site, click the LIBRARY tab, then look
at the CATALOG. Do a search for DECATUR part of INDIANA to see every
title for Decatur County, IN. Their search is a bit non-intuitive -- at
least to me -- but it does work. Follow the links and hope you come to a
SEE FILM NOTES notation. That will give you the film numbers you can
order. Otherwise there is no film and you must go to SLC to see the
document(s).
The LDS has often filmed tax records. I waded through many such in KY
looking for my wife's roots, but at a quick glance I don't see any
listed for Decatur Co., Indiana. Anybody else? Did I just miss them?
Decatur County land records have been filmed by the LDS into the 20th
century. They are well indexed and a joy to read. The court clerk had a
fine hand
In case you are not aware of it you might look at the Decatur County

Hello!
I understand there are tax lists at the Family History Centers, but it
requires knowing the district or division.
Would anyone know how I would go about finding this information for
Greensburg in Washington County for the time period between about 1856
and 1866?
Thank you very much.
