Steve,
You say you are descended from the Lawrence family--which of the
Lawrence's??? I am descended from Philip Lawrence, Jr. who is in the 1850
census in Franklin Co IN with his wife Mary C. Their daughter Margaret
Lawrence had married John Havice back in Beaver Co PA, as their first 3
children show they were born in PA. The last two Havice children were born
in Indiana, and they also are in the 1850 census in Franklin Co. Philip,
Jr. is gone by the 1860 census, but his widow Mary C. is shown living with
their daughter Suzannah Behler and her husband John and their children. My
John Havice died in 1853 and Margaret took her children to Decatur Co IN
where she purchased 9 acres from her brother Daniel Philip Lawrence in Fugit
Tp. After they had their money from the estate in Franklin Co they
purchased the remainder of that farm. By the 1870 census the Havice family
had sold their Decatur Co IN farm and bought railroad land in Champaign Co
IL where I grew up.

Subject: Re: [INDECATU] Reunion CD Questions & Answers
Karen, I came across this e-mail as I am on the list. I would be
interested
in attending this reunion and the purchase on the CD. My lines are
Lawson,
Logsdon and Lawrence that I know of. I visit the Library on the
weekends
when
I can. Let me know when and where and how much and I will be there.
