From personal experience, the people at the courthouse are very
helpful. We
were there a couple of years ago and the ladies in the County
Clerk's office
were getting things from the basement for us, had two copiers running to get
all of our info copied. They were FANTASTIC. We were researching some court
records from a murder in 1882. We were very impressed with how helpful they
were.

Subject: [INDECATU] doing research tomorrow
I'm sorry to cut it so close, but could you let me know today if
I can
still do research in the county courthouse there? I plan on being there
as early as possible. What time does the courthouse open? I hope to look
at the very oldest probate and land records mainly and then old marriage
records and bonds if I have time.
Thanks very much. Ramona
