I do not know the answer to your question, but if you go to the following
site, you will see that a Rev. Daniel Conner was born in VA in the 1700s and
died in Shelby Co, Indiana in the mid 1850s. Shelby Co is adjacent to
Decatur County, where New Point is located. Seems a good bet that he
ministered in Decatur and/or Shelby County, Indiana.

Subject: [INDECATU] marriages by Rev Daniel Conner in 1859
I'm trying to prove whether my ancestors James Harvey Applegate
and Mary
Pullen were married in New Pointe, Decatur Co., IN or in Hazel Dell,
Cumberland Co., IL. The Rev Daniel Conner married them on 8 DEC 1859.
Does anyone else have any marriages by Rev. Daniel Conner during that time
period?
Thanks for any assistance.
