I am interested in Anna Padgett/Paget who first married James Helphenstine and then Joseph
Chadd. In the 1860 census Anna, her children and Joseph and their children are listed
under the name Shad. One source gives Anna's death as 01 Jan 1877 in Daviess Co but I
have not documented this. However as you know Joseph married Sarah 18 Mar 1879 in Daviess
and that Joseph, Sarah and Mawdie are listed in Daviess Co IN in 1880. By now you may have
