Karen,
We do not know Belva Jane Malone's connection to Nancy Masters with whom she
is living in 1900 Bogard Twp Daviess.
This is after Belva's mother has died. Perhaps, Nancy Masters is a Williams
(Belva's mother maiden name) or a Moore (her father's maternal side of the
family) William Malone b Aug 1860 is Belva's father per Odon Journal report
of her wedding to Rezia Ellsworth Overton.
Thanks for all your info - it really fills in the gaps.

Ellis D. Malone
******************************
According to the 1900 and 1910 Elmore, Daviess Co., IN census, Ellis D.
Malone is the son of Albert & Ada E. (Dillon) Malone. He was born in
February 1891 in Indiana. It appears by both census' that Ellis is an
only child. His mother reports 2 children/ 1 child living in 1900 & 1910.
In 1900 & 1910 Albert, Ada and Ellis are living next to a Samuel Dillon
(b: May 1842), possibly Ada's father.
Going back to Albert's parentage, in 1880 Madison, Daviess Co., IN he is
living with his parents Frederick & Martha C. (Leon) Malone and siblings
Elias, Leonard & Mary E. Malone.
Frederick Malone's parents were Elias & Susan Malone. 1850 Holmes Co., OH
and 1860/1870 Madison, Daviess Co., IN list children: John, Frederick,
Samuel, Albert, Henry, Margan, Jacob, Catherine, William and Ann. William
was listed as 1 yr in the 1860 census.

RE: Belva Jane Malone
I found Belva J. Malone(age 15) living with a Nancy Masters in the 1900
Bogard, Daviess Co., IN census. I also found a William Malone in Madison,
Daviess Co., IN. He is listed as 39 yrs., widowed, born in
Indiana-Ohio-Ohio. Not sure if this is Belva's father, but I guess he
could be.
There was a William Malone married to a Nancy J. Parmer in Daviess Co., in
on March 2, 1884. If this is Belva's parents her mother may have died
giving birth to her.
As for the connection to Ellis D. Malone:
Ellis D. Malone's grandfather, Frederick, had a brother, William (b: abt.
1860) This age fits the William found in 1900 Madison, Daviess Co., IN &
possible father of Belva. If this is the case then I believe Belva would
be Frederick Malone's niece and a second cousin to Ellis.
Keep in mind this theory is assuming that Frederick Malone's brother,
William, is Belva's father. I hope this isn't to confusing and helps a
little..........Karen
