The Cemetery book recorded Charles' middle initial as "A". I did however,
find the following obituaries that may verify if this is the family you are looking for.

Charles Koch, owner of the Nutter farm, who removed from Ohio to this county several
months ago, died at his home Sunday of pneumonia.

Aged resident to be buried here wednesday afternoon.
Mrs. Mary Christena Koch, 89, widow, native of Ohio and resident of Daviess county for the
past 13 years, died Sunday evening at 6:55 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Lewis Wuertz, on the Thomas Bluff road, about seven miles southwest of Washington.
Death of Mrs. Koch was attributed to senility, and came after a lingering illness of three
months. She had been in a serious condition for the past four days.
Born in Ohio, near Sheirchville, on February 12, 1854, she was the daughter of William and
Christena Loell Schneider, both natives of Germany. She was twice married, the first time
to Charles A. Koch in 1871. He died in 1888. She then married Robert Koch in 1898, and
he died in 1921.
She was a member of the German Lutheran Church in Ohio.
Surviving are two children, Mrs. Lewis Wuertz, with whom the deceased had been living, and
Charles Koch of Washington. Four children are deceased, Rose Drury, Katherine Underwood,
William Koch and an infant.
Surviving also are 16 grandchildren and a brother Wm. L. Schneider of Chillicothe, Ohio.
Funeral services are to be held at 12 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Gill Funeral
Home, with Rev. Propheter officiating and burial following in Oak Grove cemetery.
Friends may pay respects at the Gill Chapel.
