Dear Pat,
I do have a copy of the same re-print you're asking about, and in my
opinion, it is worth it, especially if you have a lot of ancestry in Daviess
county. Besides early county history, it includes approximately 400 pages
of biographies of the county citizens, and it also has an every-name index.
The one you're asking about is probably soft-cover and two volumes like
mine. Reprints (not originals) of the even earlier county histories, by
Goodspeed Bros. for example, typically sell for $80-$100.

I'm considering purchasing "The History of Daviess County,
Indiana" by
A.O.
Fulkerson. Does anyone own this book and is it a good one? Worth
$53.50???
Thank you for any input anyone has. Pat
