I have the obit and death record of Margaret Routine(Routon) Taylor.and the obit is posted
April 14 2005 under the name Margaret Routon Taylor obit. her husband James Taylor is also
posted on the Daviess Co board. The records I found have this information in them so she
maybe the one you are asking of it has this: Mrs James (Margaret) Taylor died Jan 5, 1935
at the county infirmary at age 65 was born April 15, 1869 near Waynesburg, Ky being the
daughter of John and Nancy J Camalen Routine. She married in 1887 wand was widowed several
years ago when her husband was killed by a train near Vincennes. Death due to cancer, says
she had a sister Matilda Jennings of Marion, Washington. and she was buried in an unmarked
grave in Walnut Hill Cem. Odon, Ind. I have talked to another person who is doing research
on some of the Routons and some of the Taylors who went to Sopha Okla area and she said
there is a marriage record on James Taylor and Margaret Routon for 1885 in Lincoln Co. K!
y.My ggrandmothers Taylors siblings moved back and forth between Pulaski and Lincoln Co
Ky to Daviess Co. Ind. several times one of her siblings Jasper Newton Taylor moved to the
Sopha Okla area he was married to Mary Jane Riddle Warren and some of her family where
married to Routons. Also Andrew Jackson Boyd was born to Wm and Barbara Shaffer Boyd both
from Ohio and lived in Odon, Ind area all his life, but my ggreatmother Mary Belle Taylor
was born in Pulaski Co. Ky to Mary Cook and Wm Milton Taylor her siblings where born there
also. Her father and his brothers where born in Rockcastle Co Ky. The James Taylor who
married Margaret Routon was son of Wm Taylor and Mary Ann Cook and was killed by a train
in Vincennes, Ind. both he and Margaret where living at the Daviess County Home for the
Poor and he had by the way it sounds some dementia and had walked to Vincennes to see
other relatives and had become mixed up and was hit by the train while walking on the
train tracks. I!
