Wiliam Farren
Wiliam Jacob Farren, 73, N. W. 19th. St Rt 1 Box 267, Washington, died at his home at 9
a.m. Friday. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Gill
Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Barnes officiating.Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. He was born March 2, 1915 in
Daviess county to James and Catherine Shull Farren and he married Leona Pearl VanWinkle
Dec 19, 1939 and she died March 13, 1981. He worked at the Textile Mfg Co at Loogootee and
was a member of the
Montgomery United Methodist Church. Surviviing are two daughters and three sons, Mrs
Junior (Carolyn) Walls, John Willaim and James Thomas Farren, all
of Washington, Mrs. Theodore (Peggy) McDonald,Vincennes, and Robert Lewis
Farren,Cannelburg, 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and one
sister, Mrs Mildred May Taylor, Bedford.
