Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
If someone would tell me how to convert these to a readable format, I would
love to read these digests. My mother, Genevieve Queen, was from Washington,
in Daviess County.

I can't read these attached files. I have tried to find a solution online
but the recommended Winzip doesn't open the files. I tried something called
allzip but it just extracted it to notepad and it was a blank page. Someone
please tell me how I can read these with Vista Home Premium 32-bit

Searching for William and his brother James who was found in the 1920 census of Daviess Co. I have a James smith who died 2 June 1926 somewhere in Indiana. I ws told it was Indy but can't find a death record for him there. None of my familly are living now so it makes it harder for me. I am hoping the this James who is living with brother William might be him. If you know of them or of James please contact me. Thank you. Terry

Does anyone know who the parents were of Jackson Wininger who married Julia Ann VanWinkle on Sept. 6, 1855 in Daviess. Or if he had a different name besides Jackson? Can't find him in 1850 anywhere.
Thanks

Janice,
I'd love the picture. In fact, If I'd seen your note sooner, I could have shown it to his grandson at our Humerickhouse reunion last month. Please email me privately at hammerhummer(a)hotmail.com to exchange addresses.
My dad was friends with a Susie Chestnut. Name sound familiar? From the Odon area.
Thanks,
Glenn
