Michael Murray, graduated in 1971/72. He was older than
both of his sisters. I ran around with Jackie. His sister works
for Mental Health office, but she is no longe a Murrray, I don't
remember what her married name is? I know she did work
for MH in the Vincennes office, I don't know if she does now
or not, but I could find out.
If you could personally email me your personal info, I could
find out, and have Jackie contact you, personally. If that
would help you..

I could not find them in any other census. My best suggestion is to order the Social Security App from the Social Security Death Index for:
Truman V Smith 25 May1916 d. 14Feb 1998 d. Washington Daviess IN . You can print off the requisition letter from rootsweb.com. It usually costs $27, takes 6 weeks and should list his parents names that Truman gave when he signed up for his SS#.
Good luck and let me know if you have any questions. This is not part of my family.
Seeking information concerning George ?Alexious? BURCH, b. abt. 1797, Prince Georges Co., MD, son of Edward BURCH and Ann SPINK. George A. BURCH, had siblings, Samuel Lewis BURCH, Eleanor BURCH MUDD, Aletha BURCH, and Edward H. BURCH. The Edward BURCH family moved from MD to Washington Co., KY in 1799 and the siblings later moved to Nelson and Bullitt Co., KY.
George A. BURCH, mar. 1st. Jane O'BRYAN, April 26, 1820 Nelson Co., KY;

Basil Clements, being son of
Mary QUEEN CLEMENTS BURCH.
George A. BURCH's sister, Aletha, lived with George at the time of the 1840 Daviess Co., IN census.
It is believed that George A. BURCH, and his 1st wife, Jane O'BRYAN, had at least two children:
Michael BURCH, b. abt. 1822, who represented the heirs of George Alexious Burch in the
Will of Raphael Spink;
Edward Ignatius BURCH, b. abt. 1822, d. 1857 Martin Co., IN, mar. Mary Ellen Queen,

Samuel BURCH, b. 1834.
I wish to learn of places of death & burial records; baptism records (George was from a Catholic family); and any advise as to where I might find web sites that would provide me with information on this family.
Thanks,
Sallie - TX

I have a Winnie Moran married to Patrick Rooney, both from Ireland. I don't know if they ever came to the US, but their sons Martin Rooney (born about 1828 in Ireland) & John Rooney (born about 1833 in Ireland) both came to the US sometime before 1850, where Martin married Ann Gerarty in 1850 and had a son in 1852 in Union Co., IL. Martin & Ann & their son, and John all appeared in Paris, Edgar Co., IL, by the 1860 Census (albeit with the name Roney on this one census). John's descendents also lived in Washington (Daviess County), IL where several children were born and died. I have records of the family baptisms, marriages, and deaths as well as cemetery records in Washington, IN. Do you have any information about anyone in your Moran family research that connects with the Rooney family?
I am searching for the place of origin for the Rooney family and oral family history is that they came from County Cork, although I have not yet been able to confirm that in writing or find the town they came from. Any help or leads you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Linda Rooney Hess
