Does anyone know how to get in touch with Robert Clark? casey(a)dmrtc.net was his e-mail address in 2001 when he last posted messages.
He seems to have a connection with our Mary Ida Harper and Benjamin F Hargus (Hargis).
Thank you.

Nancy, Thank you so much for your response. However, I don't think this is our Wallace, although the geography is the same. Our info shows John Wallace came from Glasgow prior to 1750 with his brothers Robert Henry Wallace, William Wallace, and James Wallace. John traveled around Pennsylvania and finally settled in area around Fredericksburg, VA. His first wife was Mary Hyatt and his second wife was NAncy MAtilda de Saussure of Charleston. Their son, John Wallace (Rev. John) was born in 1754 in Fredericksburg and he served in the Rev.War. After the War, Rev. John led an extended family group of Wallace and Horrals etc. from N. Carolina to area around WAshington, IN, which he helped to found. He started the Bethel Methodist Church, still active in Washington, IN. He was the first Methodist Circuit Rider in S. Indiana.
Thanks again for your info. If you know any one from this branch of the Wallace family, I'd like to be in touch with them.

I am sorry, but I'm not sure about a Charles Wallace being linked to my Coleman Wallace. I know Coleman's childrens' names, but I only know his son Enoch's family and their families later in Illinois. Charles and Ada are not among them. Good luck on finding them.

Our lines might cross? I'm researching the Chadd line in Ky IN and ?
I found in one place where a Tabitha McKy married a Chadd and it had listed a Hannah Chadd. I am not sure I can find that record among my many printouts but it seems the name was Samuel Henry Chadd. I do have the marriage index from Daviess County IN and it lists Peter Helphenstine marrying Tabitha McKy 13 MAY 1839. My gr uncle Joseph Chadd married Anna D, Padgett Helphenstine. she was formerly married to James Helphenstine 1821-1851 and they had Sarah, Harriett and Wm Thomas Helphenstine. I beliee you can google the Helphenstine line and get more information, but I will help if I can.
Any Chadd's in your research?
Cheers

Looking for Edward James Nolan born sometime in the 1890's, but could have
been James Edward. Father was James Nolan and mother was Carylon Johnson.
So, assuming about 20years prior would be 1860-1870 for James Nolan?

Thanks, Roger Williams for your reply. That is so interesting that you grew up near this cemetery. The re is suppose to be a family member there by the name of Mary Ellen Journey. She was just seven years old when she passed away in 1867. It sounds like a beautiful place. Hope to come that way this year from MO and hoping to find her grave.
Thanks again,
Helen Rehm

I grew up across the field from that cemetery some 50 years ago. It is quite an old one with very few visible markers - but a lovely setting on the hill above the little white country church which is still active. Sorry to say that I am not aware of any official listing of the burials.
Looking for information on Joseph Wade. He married Bridget Dunn in 1952 and
is buried in St. Mary Barr Twp Cemetery. Would like to find his birth date-
death date and who where his parents. Would love to hear from anyone
researching this family. Thanks.
