Cheers
Carol,
Elizabeth Mahala Raney b. 12 Jun 1829 in Martin Co, IN; d. 27 Nov 1881 in
Daviess Co, IN was a daughter of John Felix Raney and Mary O'Neal. On 16 Oct
1847 at St. Patrick's, Bramble, Martin Co, IN she married Patrick Hopkins b.
County Langford, IRE; d. 1 Mar 1904 Barr Twp, Daviess Co, IN. They had 14
children.
John Felix Raney was a son of Jeremiah Riney and Mary Joan Sheehan Moore. I
understand they had 12 children, but I do not have all the names.
Marilyn Sause (Conlon) Gappa would be our best contact on this family.

I can help in a small way finding your Bernie Evans. He married my father's sister, Elizabeth Akers. They are buried in Mt Gilead Cemetery in a community called Cumback. I visited their small farm when I was a child. Their grandson, Eugene, died just this past year. His wife is still living in Washington, IN, Daviess Co. She may have more information. I will try to contact her. She may have pictures
