I've "rescued" a group of photographs belonging to the PETTY - COOK Family
of Indiana, Kansas, and Minnesota. Based on limited research I was able to
locate the following information regarding the family, which I've included
below along with detail regarding each of the photographs:
1. Father of Lide COOK PETTY, taken at the Heichert Studio in
Frankfort, IN, 1880's, man in his 50's or 60's, note - could have been an
earlier tintype photo converted to a cabinet card in the 1880's

3. Garner Francis PETTY, taken at the Gilbert Studio in Frankfort, IN,
1890's, man in his 40's, note - someone has written date "1860" on the
back
of the photograph which may suggest that this is another photograph taken in
the 1860's in tintype which was transferred to a cabinet card photo in the
1890's
