Carol,
I just talked to my 88 year old mother who moved to Frankfort when she was
7 years old. She subsequently graduated from Clinton County High School
(Old Stoney) in 1941. She said the Brick Shanty had great hamburgers. She
further stated that the Brick Shanty was located on Washington Street close
to the square on an alley. It was between the Ford Garage (where her Dad
worked) and the square. She remembers the Ford Garage was next to Prairie
Creek.
Hope this helps.

Many years ago there was a business in Frankfort called the Brick Shanty.
Can someone tell me where it was located? I think I know, but I am not
sure.
