The Frankfort Library Obit Index is fantastic, but just because someone isn't listed
doesn't mean it wasn't in the paper. When I first started doing genealogy, I was
doing research there. I was using the card file. Their wasn't a card for my first
husband and his obit was in the paper. I showed the film to the librarian and she made
out a card and put it in the file. Then I found out about the index on their site.
Naturally, his name wasn't on that list either. I made this known and for a long time
it wasn't added. This was over 3 years ago. I assume it has been added by now. The
best way to know for sure is to go to the library and search the film for yourself.

The obituary index at the Frankfort Community Public Library
is a great resource available at:
http://www.accs.net/fcpl/obit.htm
The index contains a large number of McCoy entries but no William J. McCoy in 1913.
Ancestry.com does not have an obit listing either.
