McNUTT: John's sister Martha married James MCNUTT, descendants probably

THOMPSON: Samuel Thompson was Justice of the Peace in Jefferson.
Descendants stayed thereabouts.
McNEAL: Alexender McNeal married Nancy Thompson. Their son, Samuel

Your comments were very interesting to me. I have ROSS in my direct line,
but have done no research on the family as yet. Margaret "Peggy" SMILEY m.
Joseph A. Douglass, Sr. and moved to Clinton Co. c. 1834 from Butler Co.
OH. They were in Jackson Twp. at the time of the 1850 census. Peggy's
mother was Margaret Ross 1758-1828 who died in Falmouth, Fayette Co. IN.
Is there any connection to your line?
Best regards,
