Looking for Clinton County records pertaining to Michael &
Rebecca
(Price)
Healey. Nothing known regarding their dates of death or place(s) of
burial.
Probably occurred in the 1860s.
Would appreciate info or assistance in furthering research.
Highlights of known information:
Michael purchased 103 acres of land from John and Sara Niher on 5-31-1856.
(1860
Clinton Co./Sugar Creek Twp census record states he was born in
Ireland...)
He married Rebecca Price on 9-7-1856. (Have a good bit of Price background
info...)
On 3-24-1960 Michael & Rebecca Healey deeded their property to their son,
Spencer Healey (b. 6-8-1857). Rationale for transfer to infant son is
unknown
and a really puzzling mystery. Two other siblings are known: Niher,
Spencer's
twin, and Nora Christena (b. 1858).
Wm Price petitioned court for Letters of Guardianship on Spencer Healey on
2-12-1869. (Have a lot of court records pertaining to guardianship.)
Petition
states he has kept Spencer in his household for a number of years.
On 1-10-1878 Spencer married Nancy Ellen Duskey. ...by 1880 Spencer &
Nancy
had
moved into Tipton County. Little known about their Tipton County
residency.
(Have some Duskey info.)
