Shar;
Might be able to help you with your Chas. Wills.
I have a Chas. Wills married to Nancy Rice.
Chas. born; Dec. 1, 1829 in Middletown, Ohio
died; July 6, 1906 in Clinton Co. buried at Oakhill Cem. Clinton Co.
The 1880 census with this bunch is confusing; I have him enumerated in two
different households; one with son-in-law Frank Cain and the other in his
son's Abraham Squire Wills's house.
The Wills family for me is an affiliate line and my interest only lies in
how they tie in with the Rices. The Rice family also is an affiliate line
and my interest here only lies where they tie in with the Shroyers, my main
line of research.
Chas. Wills mother and father; Jonathon & Hannah
(Douglas) Wills. Chas's wife; Nancy Rice's mother & father; Jonathon &
Elizabeth Shroyer Rice. Jonathon's mother and father; John & Lucretia
(Barmour) Rice.
Elizabeth Shroyer Rice's mother and father; Daniel & Rachel Shroyer. Daniel
and Rachel my main line of research but have worked on all affilitate lines
as well.
You don't say which child of Chas's you come from let me know that and we'll
see if and where we connect.
You asked about the 1890 census. There isn't one.
It was destroyed by fire or eaten by rats or something,
I don't exactly recall but at any rate it doesn't exist.
Maybe someone else here can relate what happened to it.
Do let me know which kid of Chas's you descend from and I'll be glad to see
what I have. Am willing to share anything and everything that I have.
If you prefer you may e-mail me direct.
