Thanks for doing this census transcription for the webpage. I know how
difficult it can be to read the handwriting and faded (sometimes) lines of these
census pages. This transcription will be a great addition to the Clinton
County page.
I'll be writing to you, individually, with additional info (as you requested)
about the people (i.e. wife's maiden name) and to give corrections to the census
taker's spellings of my family members' names, when applicable.

The 1860 Census transcriptions that I did for
Rossville and Ross Township are now available on the
GenWeb site.

You'll notice there are many question marks. I marked
everything I wasn't sure about and haven't had a
chance to double check anything. I do want to keep the
transcription accurate to the original record but
would also like to add notes to the side for names
that were misspelled by the census taker.
