I am looking for places that carry the Clay County Enterprise from
the 1880s through around 1910, more or less.
Last weekend, I went through it at the genealogical library in Center
Point, but I'm wondering where else I can find it. I live in Los
Angeles, although I am working for the next week in Chicago.
The Library of Congress has a page for it here,
http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn84023878/
It lists some places that carry it, such as the state library in
Indianapolis, but, since they don't list the Clay County Genealogy
Library, this list is definitely not complete.
Anywhere else?
Also, is there any progress towards getting this indexed? What about
submitting it for scanning and indexing to Ancestry dotcom? This is
a valuable resource that should be made more widely available (same
thing too with the other Clay County newspapers from that time period).
Thank you!
