Seelyville is actually in Vigo County, I guess? When I looked it up online, it shows up
that way. I thought it was in Clay County. Oops. I'll see if I can scan it and send
to any who want it. It may take a little while since there are 13 pages.

I don't know when it was told, but am certainly interested in the contents. It
appears that the Vigo County Library has a copy:
http://www.vigo.lib.in.us/archives/inventories/caf/RS.php
The Seelyville Story (as told by Morton A. Lewis and written for the Lost Creek Township
Men's Club; mimeographed booklet, n.d.)
Morton A. Lewis was born 1878 and died 1968, age about 90. One would guess he would have
been a mature citizen to have been asked to compile such a history, so probably in the
1950s. Just a guess.

I found today at a garage sale a 13 page copy of:
The Seelyville Story
As Told By
Morton A. Lewis
and Written for
The Lost Creek Township Men's Club
Does anyone know when this was told by Morton A. Lewis?? There is no date anywhere to be
found.?? Jack Conway is listed as president of the Lost Creek Twp. Men's Club.
> From the foreward I see this:?
Quite some time ago the Lost Creek Twp. Men's Club requested Mr. Morton Lewis to
compile a brief history of Lost Creek Twp. Mrs. Ruth Hartmann,? commerce teacher at the
Glenn High School, was gracious enough to first publish the work in "The Glenn
Echo."??
