I am so happy you cleared up the matter of Floyd and his family in the 1930
census at
Ancestry.com! I found the wrong parents for the family! I know I
have enough experience to do this kind of search, but it just didn't add
up! Working with the census at Ancestry is just not easy these days!

Floyd, Oris & Gilbert are all Trackmen for the RR. It's difficult to cite
a complete reference because the pages are out of order in
Ancestry.com
and there isn't a dwelling or family number assigned to them. My guess would
be either the enumerator missed numbering them, or they are part of hh

Subject: [INCLAY] Household of Floyd Puckett 1930
I am in need of someone who has access to the 1930 Federal censuses for
Clay and possibly Vigo County, Indiana. I need the census data for the
household of Floyd Puckett, born about 1884 Clay County, IN. I need to see if he
had a son, Robert, born between 1920 and 1930.
A Robert Puckett was born 31 July 1921 and died 10 January 1995 in Grand
Junction, Van Buren County, Michigan. A probable daughter was Nellie Lucille
Puckett Hutson, born 10 March 1952 and died May 1979 also in Grand
Junction. Apparently Floyd Puckett Sr. moved to Van Buren County, Michigan where
he died in 1971. The "Junior" from the 1920 Clay County IN census is most
likely Floyd Puckett Jr. born February 6, 1919 and died in Lawrence, Van
Buren county, MI on September 3, 1997.
I am attempting to research this family for a cousin here in Tennessee.
She believes her mother Nellie's father was a "Bob" or Robert Puckett. Any
help on this family would be greatly appreciated!
Best regards,
