Hi Wanda,
I checked what info I have here at home and found a Botts family living in
Clay County in 1860,they were not listed in my copy of the 1870 census but
it may not be complete. Here is what I found in the 1860 Clay County census
on the Botts name;
Joshua J. Botts M Perry 35 Year(s) Kentucky
Farmer
Mary A. Botts F Perry 30 Year(s) Indiana
House Keeper
Nancy J. Botts F Perry 10 Year(s) Indiana
William Botts M Perry 8 Year(s) Indiana
Charles Botts M Perry 6 Year(s) Indiana
John B. Botts M Perry 1 Year(s) Indiana
All of these are listed as living in the same household.
I couldn't find anything else on the Botts name in Clay County Indiana.

I need help!!!
I am looking for a Joshua BOTTS death record, place of burial - or any
information, for that matter, after 1850. He and his wife, Malinda, were
listed in the 1850 census, living close to my g-great grandfather, Joseph,
and another son, Jefferson.
I am attempting to prove or disprove that this is the same Joshua Botts
that married Malinda Holliday.
Am beginning to think I am to only person in the world researching this
family!
