Hi gang:
Just to kick things off a bit I am always looking for stories,
anecdotes, etc concerning the descendants of James Bayard Campbell
who came to Clay and lived around Bowling Greene. I have most
of the genealogy but am looking to write the story of this bunch
in a book for their descendants. I am especially interested in
the children of William Lafayette Campbell and feel I have gaps
in the stories of his sons Arthur and Robert. Arthur owned a
tavern and card shark operation "hosted" by Robert in Bowling Green
prior to WW2. I am open to anything, good or scandalous. My
grandfather was their brother, Ebe, who lived a little more sedate
life in Owen Co.
As far as genealogy is concerned I am most interested in the Woods
genealogy. Keziah Bell Woods was the wife of Wm Lafayette Campbell.
