I have had a Clay Co. Gen. Soc. researcher check her resources (including
this birth index) for me on this family to no avail. I will give her another
call, now that I have this baby's first name. Maybe this will prove to be
what will lead her to the record.

Unfortunately, the mine accident which killed my gggrandfather and
permanently disfigured his son occurred in PA, and I have as yet been unable
to find any documentation on it.
Btw, thanks for the information on Aaron Simmonson. That might be another
avenue to check.
