My wife is the g-g-g-great granddaughter of Ezekial and Henrietta (Woodsmall) Jenkins.
Henrietta was Nancy Woodsmall’s sister, according to my records.
My wife’s line comes from James Pricey Jenkins, son of Ezekial and Henrietta (Woodsmall)
Jenkins from Clay County. James Pricey Jenkins died in the Civil War. He was a private,
company A, 23d Iowa Infantry, enlisted August 11th, 1862; served with his regiment in
Missouri and died from lung fever at Arcadia, Missouri, November 3, 1862.
William Thomas Jenkins (b. Mar 1860) was the son of James Pricey Jenkins and Eliza Ann
(Hussong) Jenkins. William and his wife Alpharetta (McDane?) moved out to Montana in 1910
via railroad to homestead with most of their children, including my wife’s great
grandfather Ernest Oscar Jenkins.
I have information on this Jenkins loine back to about 1630, but I am missing a lot of
pieces. Anyone want to share??
