Hello Janice, thanks for your email, but I believe my John William Moore is not the same.
My John William Moore came from England with his mother, Harriet, around 1870-1875 and
settled in Brazil, IN area. He was born in 1865 and married a Desire Ann Troth of
Patricksburg, Owen County, IN. He died in 1907. He did have a sister named Sarah Ann, but
I have no info on her at all. She may not have even come to America with him.
His mother, Harriet, may have remarried here in America to a Mr. Hill - possibly a John
Hill of Brazil, IN. This part of the family history is obscure still. Hang in
there!!!Sandy

I let my email back up and I missed this one. My heart jumped but my John
MOORE was born c 1835. He lived in Clay Co, IN and married Mary MOORE (they
married in IL). She was born 1848. William may be my John's middle name. This
couple, their son, Amos W. MOORE , along with her parents, James & Sarah
MOORE, moved to Fulton Co., IL c 1860's. They all later moved to MO in the early
1870s.
I thought I'd throw this out on the table again in case anyone has run across
this group in Clay Co.
Yes, Mary's maiden and married name is MOORE. <hugh heavy sigh>
