I have been following this discussion of Clay County Wheelers.
Although I haven't seen any names I recognize, I wonder if there
might be any connection with my Clay County Wheelers, all descendents
of David Wheeler (1801 - 1881) who moved to Clay County in 1835 from
Ohio. He had seven children, but the only line I know about is from
his son Hezekiah. The children of David Wheeler were:
Hezekiah (1827 - 1908)
John (1831 - ?)
David L. (1834 - ?)
Phillip (1839 - ?)
Ferdinand (1843 - ?)
Clarinda (1846 - ?)
Elizabeth (? - ?)
The other Wheeler names I have (all part of Hezekiah's line) are:
Anna (1859 - 1907)
Clarinda (1846 - ?)
David H. (1861 - ?)
Iva Mae (1867 - 1936)
Perry L. (1856 - ?)
Phillip Sheridan (1864 - <1908)
Rachel (1852 - 1936)
William O. (1851 - 1923)
Curious if there is any connection with your Wheelors.
