Thanks for your reply. I don't know enough about the Jenkins yet. I
suppose it's possible, since a lot of people did go to GA from NC before
heading west, but since these Jenkins were known to be in Indiana by the
1850 census, and believed there in the 1840 census also, then probably not?
We discussed James McCullough & Nettie Bolin-McCullough-Mullis) from
Brazil once, but they don't connect to my Jenkins that I'm aware of. The
major surname with my Logan & Jenkins is McAlister.

Did your Jenkins live in Georgia during the War Between the States and was
one of your family members (on the mother's side) a Colonel in the
Confederacy? He commanded the 3rd Georgia Reserves.
Did one of your female members marry a man named Cunningham prior to the
War Between the States?
Sorry for the ambiguity. I'm at a rental computer right now. In my family,
the Jenkins married into the Cunningham family near Griffin Georgia.
