Bill,
Some one, or group, needs to tell us who did this work. We certainly
appreciate all the volunteers who work to help us in our search.
1900 CENSUS IS BEING DONE BY BECKY HORVATH..
Did you notice the date of the entry for Calvin Mattox? Keep in
mind,
some tombstones are set many years after the burial. Sometimes they are
marked from memory and not from dates written and stored.
THE STONE HAS DEC 23, 1899 AND IT IS IN GOOD SHAPE. AM BETTING THAT IT WAS
DONE FROM MEMORY AND THEY ARE OFF BY A YEAR. PLANS ARE TO GET A COPY OF THE
DEATH CERT NEXT TIME I AM OVER THERE. I KNOW OF ONE OTHER STONE IN SANDERS
THAT IS IN ERROR ON THE DATES.... STONES LIKE SO MANY OTHER SOURCES ARE
SUBJECT TO ERROR, AS YOU SAY..
