I've just been contacted by a distant relative who gave me some info that

have been needing for a long time! My brick wall has just moved a
little.

Anyway, Thomas Alexander CRAIG b. 8/15/1839 d. 1906
Married 1) Rhoda Neal
Married 2) Pelena Jane Swagerty
I have more info from one of Tom and Jane's (Pelena) gr. grandchildren.
The list below will show the brothers and sisters of Tom "Alexander"
Craig:
John Davis b. 6/15/1854 in Crawford Co., Illinois d. 1938 he married
Drewsilla (last name unknown) both buried at Sanders Cem.
Mary Ann (twin to Martha)
Martha (twin to Mary Ann)
Lucinda
Charles married Amanda (last name unknown) 6 children born to them.
Isabelle
And probably could have been a few other little girls that died young.
Parents to Thomas Alexander Craig:
Thomas J. CRAIG Eliza (short for Elizabeth?) INMAN
The story goes that the children came with Thomas J. and Eliza from
Illinois
to Clay Co., Ind. and was left to be orphans.
Thomas J. was supposed to have been a minister.
Thomas Alexander Craig was supposed to have been in the Civil War and was
captured and spent time in Libby prison. When the children would ask
him
about it, he wouldn't talk about the war.
