Well, you did pick up one thing that I had missed. In the 1910 census of
Clay Co, Henry is listed as having been married 3 times. With the 1870
information which I did not have, it would seem that Elizabeth of the 1880
census was probably the daughter of Henry and Martha Beasley. There is a
3rd wife to consider and what the time frame might be of that marriage.
The 1910 census also shows that the "infant" of 1900 was Charles who was
then listed as 12 years of age. The information on the 1910 is ED 16, Sheet
9, Lines 31-37, Dwell 179/Family 181.
Thanks for the information - I'm filling in more blanks all the time with
the information that all of you are providing.
Bill
BTW - Lillie V marries William Puckett in Nov 1900 in Greene Co.

Bill,

<< Yes, these are my Sills. Henry married Reny (Arena) Denny. Henry died
in
1917. Since Arena was about 10 years younger than Henry, odds are
she
lived
beyond 1920 which is the cutoff dates for the WPA Indices. The
Arena who
married Elvin Price was their daughter. As to the William H, >>
Very puzzling, as the dates do not fit well. In the following 1880
census,
Henry, age 29, has a daughter, age 8, but he has just married Arrena
a few
months earlier. If they had a daughter named Arrena, she would have been
born after 1879, and be less than age 14 in 1893.

Actually, I think this date is Arena's date of birth (see Anna J. below).
I
couldn't find Elvin Price in 1900 census (I wasn't looking
for a child),

below is Henry Sills. Here are two children of Elvin/Alvin Price:
