Subject: GILBERT
Hi Connie,
We have written before as I am also interested in the GILBERTS. You had
said you thought we had a connection. My GILBERT is:
Ebenezer GILBERT b OH 1825, m Lydia Walker in Clay Co, IN. She was b
Clay Co, IN 1830 and mother's name was Mary (?nee). They were in Clay
Co, until between the 1850 Clay Co census and the 1860 Edgar Co, IL
census. One dau that I know of is Almyra/Almira (Mary) b 1850 Clay Co,
IN. I still have not found out who Lydia's father was or any siblings or
her mother's maiden name. I also have very little info for Ebenezer.
If it's not too bold of me to ask, when you get back and get things
sorted out, I would be very interested in any info you might find on the
GILBERTS and associated families. I am more than willing to pay for
postage if you would be sending it regular mail, any copying costs etc.
Good luck in your search and have fun.
Charmaine
