That sounds like the cemetery on 46 that is about 1 mile east of the
Harmony/Center Point Road. It is on the corner and has a deep swail thru the center
of it. CCGS has a copy of the tombstones in there.

Could someone verify the directions to the Grimes Cemetery.
A whole bunch of RECTOR'S are in Oak Hill Cemetery and that direction sounded
like the way to that cemetery. Oak Hill you take 59 to 46 turn right. The
cemetery is on both sides of the road and quite large.

before you get to Dietz Lake..

It's on State Road 46, east of State Road 59 if I remember correctly. I was up there last month. It is on the south side of the road, in front of a white farmhouse set back from the road. There's actually graves on both sides of what looks like a big ditch. What families are you researching?

LeeAnn,
It's the 23rd exit to Indiana Highway 59. Get off the south bound ramp.
The CCGS Library is in a very small town called Center Point in Clay
County. It is marked on highway 59.
Good luck and happy hunting.

LeeAnn,
They came from Randolph Co., NC. I don't have all the facts on the Graves
Families that went to Clay County, but I know that Samuel and Zilphia
Graves,
parents of John Graves, came to Clay County and both died there. Zilphia/s
death
can be found in the Mortality Schedules. Her maiden name isn't known to me.
There are persons living in Clay County who are researching that line and
are
more knowledgeable than I. I suspect that Mary was a sister of John. Rebecca
Graves married George Williams. We have not found proof whether she was also
a
sibling.
I wish I had more information for you. I can tell you there is a lot of
information at CCGS Library about the Loudermilk Family.
