My ancestor is William Herron, Sr. and he was b. Abt 1790. We don't have his wifes' name, but his three sons are William, Fielding and Emanuel. The sons were born in Tenn. This particular family ended up in Arkansas. Our line is descended from William and we have a five generation line. Any info would be deeply appreciated.

Ufortunately I dont have much info on this family to say yes or no to this being my line also. Sorry. I will keep your info and let you know if I find a connection. Thank you for the response.
I am researching the family of John Robert MILLER. I was told he died in
1929 in a coal mining accident. He is supposed to be buried in Cottage Hill
Cemetery in Brazil, Clay Co., IN. He married Rosalina (aka Rose) BUSSELL
(b. 4-8-1875, d. 8-24-1956) whose parents were Thomas and Sarah BUSSELL who
migrated from Manchester, England to Clay Co. I don't have a marriage date.
They had 8 children: William, Letha, John Charles, Harry, Sarah, Helen,
Earl, and Norman. My line is descended from John Charles MILLER. I would
love to hear from anyone working in this family. Thank you for any help on
this family.
Carol

The Monthly meetings are held on the 10th day of each month, unless it falls
on the weekend. If so, then the meeting is at 7:30 PM on the first Monday
following. In the winter, meetings are held on Sunday afternoon.
There is a Howard Johnson Motel on St. Rd 42 just off St. Rd 59. Exit I 70
at the Brazil exit and go south to the 4 way stop at St. Rd 42 then turn left
past the motel to the Harmony Road (about 2 1/2 miles) turn right. Go to the
stop sign in Center Point and turn right again. The library is on the corner
at 309 Main Street.
We would be happy to have you come visit our library. It is open Monday,
Wednesday, and Saturday afternoons 1:00 to 4:00 PM. If you want to visit at
other times there is a charge to open the library and they will arrange that
for you. The Email address is Research(a)ccgsilib.org. It is a fine library
operated by Volunteers.

Are the monthly meetings held every second Monday each month? We may be in your area, and it would be nice to join you. What is the best way to take off the interstate, and what time is the meeting? Are there any hotels in your area?
Thanks, Marilyn Brown

Thanks for the info, you are right, Smith is hard to trace. The family that I am searching info on came to the United States in 1877-78 from Scotland with two daughters, Mary and Anna. They had two children born in PA; John 1879 and Katie 1880. Moved on to Ohio and had Christina in 1883 and ended up in Clay County Indiana in 1884. I have Mary's birth certificate from Scotland, but not much else. Thanks again for you help.

It's been reported that James may have accidently shot her. He died Dec.1860, and she was listed as deceased on his porbate(1862-1865). Her children were listed on the probate as Mealinda? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Milton --- do not know Nancy's parents or her siblings. First time I found her was in civil war papers of Elijah Bolin, her son - listed his parents as William and Nancy Bolin. Later tracking down the children in county records, I found Nancy Pressley as the mother's name. I don't know if she was married before being married to William or if Pressley is her maiden name. Any thoughts appreciated.
Thanks, Jane
