There seems to be no activity on the email genealogy address list. Are these now totally
inactive and a research source of the past. Please respond if you are one who receives
this inquiry, otherwise, I guess I have no alternative than to delete the email address.
Thank you!

I keep up with it. I haven't posted anything in a while myself as I've had to put
my genealogy aside for a bit but will start back up if it will help keep this going. I
have a lot of history in Clark County and still have family there.
Thank you,
Pamela Smith

I am still here. My interest is the Buchanan family that moved to Indiana
in the 1820s and 30s from Trimble Co., KY. For the last three years,
however, I have been concentrating on my maternal line on the east coast. I
am still interested in touching based with others searching the Buchanan
family.

I was just on there the other day...I took a break from my CARTWRIGHT genealogy in Clark
County but starting to get back into it.
I took advise and tried to contact Clark Nickles but email was sent back...found him on
facebook but didn't get a response back...anyone have any reseat ideas for below
information, I would appreciate:
I'm looking for a Stephen or John Stephen CARTWRIGHT born abt. 1823 "M"
Mary SMITH, I can not find parents or where they came from.
Here is some info I have:
the Clark County Historical Dept. (library) sent me some documents that mention Ahaz
Cartwright, b.1750 his wife Ann b. 1752 children listed are Joseph b.1775,Jacob or
Josiah(can't read)b/1778, another one I can't make out the name, b1780,and Ahaz
Cartwright b.1783. I know an Ahaz and Noah settled in Indiana, Clark County? My question is
do you know if any of these persons has a son Stephen (John Stephen)Cartwright born about
1823?
The document I have lists a Charles b.1820, Lydia b.1821, Stephen b.1823, Elisebeth
b.18?? and a Noah Cartwright but the paper looks like it tore so I can't make out the
rest.
If you can shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate.
Thank You Genell Sims

Like others, I have been searching other surnames, in other states. Always open for info
and connections on Clark Co., IN and close area of the Allstotts and Campbell's.
Thank you
