Thank you for this information about Francis Marion "Lincoln"
Louden. As I learn more about him and Clara and their family, I
will be happy to share it with you.
I also appreciate the information about your Giles Kelley family. It
is interesting how these two families followed similar paths to end
up in Clark County where two apparently not related Kelly/Kelley
women married the two Louden brothers. This is the kind of
coincidence that makes family history researchers tear their hair
out!! Thank you for helping me sort this out.
In my Kelly/Kelley line William Kelly died in Augusta Co, VA in 1766,
his son, John, moved to Washington Co, VA and died there circa 1822
and his son, Anthony, who was born in VA in1774 went out to Kentucky
around 1800 and lived in Mason and Fleming Counties near the Ohio
River (across the state from Barren Co in the southwest). Around
1816 he and his family moved up to Clark County and joined his
cousins who had moved up around 1805 from Fayette and Woodford
Counties in Kentucky.
Best wishes for continued success in your research.

My Francis Marion "Lincoln" Louden did marry your Clara
Kelly. He was
born 15 Jul 1860 and died in 1941. On the 1900 census he is listed
as living
with his brother, Thomas, being 39 and single. I have their son
Woodrow
being born on 7 Mar 1913, so I expect they were married sometime
between
1900 and 1913. I don't have the exact date.
