I have no information about the Mills or Miles family in Clark Co, IN
but I did find a reference to a James R. Bottorff listed in Clark
County Deaths, 1886 Veterans Enumeration published in the Hoosier
Genealogist, vol 39 # 2, June 1999. I was looking at the listing to
see if any Boyers were included and his name is just a little above
where they would have been listed. He apparently died 15 Jan 1881 in
Oregon.
