In the 1870 census Lawrence Co., MO.
#36 Thomas J. Meeker 23 Ind
Sarah M. Meeker 22 MO
Nancy Kelley 42 VA
John W. Allstott 35 Ind
Thomas J. Meeker was a cousin to John W Allstott. But Thomas J.
Meeker's wife, Sarah M, must have been the dau of Nancy Kelley. So
that is where the Kelley surname comes in.
Next door was the future Mrs, John W. Allstott. Fun to see how the
families lived and kept close to each other.

I am like you, one day working on this line and then the other. So
the Kelley family in Clark Co., IN. is one of those lines. My, John
Allstott, was living with his cousin, ---- Kelley, in the 1870s (I
think that was the year, with out going and looking it up.) This was
in Lawrence Co., MO. Years ago in helping with a Allstott/Altstott
book, one of the helpers was from the Kelley line. So this is just a
little saying HI., note and if you have any info about the Kelley -
Allstott line, I would enjoy hearing from you and I will look up what
may help you in my Kelley - Allstott records.
