Antoinette,
I have always believed that Lucinda Baker, ( Henry Levi Denny) was
daughter of James Baker and Elizabeth Peyton, dau of Micajah Peyton(
Christina Shouse) . Micajah Peyton is Carol Thomas Fink's line.
I have 10 children for James Baker.(elizabeth Peyton)
I have 9 children for Jesse Baker ( Sarah Robertson)
I had Lucinda's death date as 1936 ( source unknown) but that can't be
correct as her husband is listed in the 1920 census as widowed and living
with his daughters Lucy White and daughter Rhoda Moss in 1930.
I located a picture of Lucinda's gravestone
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=denny&GScid...
which has the correct birth date showing she died in 1913.
.Her daughter Lucy Denny Rathburn White is also buried there.
Her death certificate information is shown at this location ( info copied
below)

Two of her children's death records are also there!

Note sure why Miss Lulie Davis got the families mixed up on this one!
Hope this helps!

Subject: [INCLARK] ROBERTSON - BAKER - DENNY
Message: 1
In working on the Robertson line of my family genealogy, most of my input
back prior to computer days were from the manuscript of Miss Lulie Davis
of Salem, Washington County, Indiana, and transferred over to the computer
in the early 90s. While getting back with the Robertson's this week I
have noticed working census records that there is NO daughter named
Lucinda in census records for Lucinda Baker (daughter of Jesse Baker &
Sarah Robertson) although she is in the manuscript. The only Lucinda that
I have come across is a daughter of Jesse Baker's brother James Baker &
his wife Elizabeth (nee' Payton??). Lucinda Baker married Henry
Denny. Is there anyone who can help straighten this out? Will appreciate
any help given.
Thank you.
Antoinette (Tacoma, Washington)
