Unfortunately, any marriage data that old is unlikely to have any further
information about the family. I have accessed several records in Indiana
from that time period and without fail it's been only the names of the bride
and groom.

Subject: MARRIAGE RECORD 1818
Years ago I wrote via snail mail for a marriage record between Thomas Sinex
and Flora West. I received a photocopy of the Marriage Ledger Index page
showing their names and the information that is on the index pages with a
statement that they could not open the book due to fragility of the pages.
Does anyone know whether these may have been microfilmed by this time? Or
does anyone know if they do photocopy these now. I do believe they can
insert a tissue in between each page to save them from "crumbling". Any
help from any one will be gratefully appreciated. We are trying to
establish the true names of Thomas Sinex parents if at all possible.
