I see Debby gave you some good ideas. By nameplate do you mean gravestone?
Cass County Funeral Homes are:
Kroeger's
Gundrum's
Morocco's
Fisher's
I have dealt with all but Morocco's. The other ones people are lovely and
helpfull. You can find their addresses, etc, on Pharos Tribune Newspaper
Site in the Obituary section. Or Google the name.
I think Murray's-it use to be this name along but I think it is changed some
both at Galveston and Walton.
Maybe you could google Walton IN and get names there tocontact. The Walton
IOOF is in the country and is much smaller than Mt. Hope in Logansport. You
could also google Mt.Hope Cem and get the sexton, Mike Nicolls, email
address. He is a wonderful man and may know the names you need and/or answer
your questions. If you want you can use my name.

Dixie,
I do not have names of these particular sextons. The best place to get
that
information is from the nearest funeral home if the cemetery is still an
active one. They have to have this information in order to make funeral
arrangements for people. All the Cass County Funeral home have websites
with contact information. There are links to each of these websites on my
cemetery entry page.

Any inactive cemeteries will be managed by the township trustee, private
cemetery association or property owner.
I don't really know what you mean by nameplates, so I can't answer that
without further explanation.

Sallie,
Thank you again for your information. I've looked on the Cass Co Ind site
and unable to locate the Sexton's, or pictures of nameplates needed.
Thank you and have a Blessed Day.

I don't know the sexton's of these 3 Cemeteries. I do know that Cass
County
Cemeteries are well documented on google Cemeteries of Cass
County
IN. The web mother is Debby Beheler. I do not know her personally but I
DO
know she is one great lady and a hard worker for love of the Cemeteries
and
those who are buried in them. Walton IOOF site has many stones and obits
included. There is a beautiful picture of the Shideler Cem. Each
Cemeteries
history is included! I think the sexton of Walton passed away a year or
so
ago and don't know who the new one is. I would think Debby could find out
if
she doesn't already know. You can email her.
