Dear Debby,
I just spent some time in the past-in Mt. Hope Cemetery and here I am 1500
miles away! Thank you so much. It was very easy to find my families buried
there-Morris, Gill, Reeser, Dingledein, Leffert.
What wonderful memories~~~~~we spent so much time in Mt Hope as a child. My
aunt/uncle, Wayne and Dorothy Morris Leffert lived right next to Mt Hope
[across from the old Children's Home] and I lived with them. I had no fear
walking along the roads, we did NOT play there. As long as I lived in Cass
County, I continued driving the roads and remembering my families, what fun
we had and what love they gave to us.
Thanks again, oh, I even found the Matt Family, dear little Josie, who was
our sweet neighbor on 8th St. What memories.
Sallie Lou Morris Nelson
San Benito, TX.
