I am looking for volunteers who would be willing to watch the newspapers and
send me a list of burials in Cass County Cemeteries. I would not expect one
person to do all of them.
Mt. Hope already sends me regular updates, so it is covered. I am thinking
perhaps a volunteer would cover one township.

If you would like to do this, but do not subscribe to the local newspaper,
it is available online. Pharos Tribune -
http://pharostribune.com/ Also, for
the southern part of the county the Kokomo Tribune is available online as well -
http://pharostribune.com/ Most of the Cass County Funeral Homes have great
sites with obituaries online as well. See Cemeteries of Cass County -
http://incass-inmiami.org/cass/cemeteries/ for links on the lefthand side.
What I will need is Name of Cemetery, Full Name of Deceased, birthdate (when
available), deathdate. The report can be done at the end of each month, every
other month or quarterly. That is up to the volunteer.
This is a huge job without help, but if I could get some reliable volunteers,
my job would be so much easier. Thanks for your consideration
