To any who might be interested,
I was reading the 1893 newspaper of Weekly Pharos Newspaper that covers Logansport,
There was a mention of two Dunn ladies, that was hired as school teachers. If my memory
serves me right, I belive it was Sophia & Anna Dunn.
If anyone else is looking for information around that time please come and check out my
web site The Millers in Cass County. You will find some newspaper on this site.

Thanks to the Guardian's Bonds posted on the Cass Co website, I
was able
to find add'l info on this family. This isn't the Mary I was looking
for, but maybe these findings will help someone else.
Various resources were used in putting together this info, including
some conjecture.
Children of Mrs. Mary DUNN:
Emma M. DUNN b: Abt. 1856 OH
....... +Joel W. BLACK m: Bef. 1880
Matilda DUNN b: Abt. 1858 OH, d: 03 Apr 1919 Logansport, Cass Co, IN
....... +Andrew HUBLER m: Aft. 1880
Anna B. DUNN b: Sep 1860 OH
Sarah E. DUNN b: 16 Aug 1862 IN
William C. DUNN b: Mar 1864 IN
Mariah Josephine DUNN b: 01 Jan 1866 IN
Charles DUNN b: Nov 1867
Sophia M. DUNN b: Jul 1869 IN
Albert S. DUNN b: 10 Sep 1874 IN
Found all the children were on the 1880 census except Charles.
As for Mary, I believe her maiden name was CROLL; her parents William
and Catherine CROLL, born in PA. Census info lists Mary was born in OH,
probably before 1840, and she had a sister named Sophia. Judging from
the ages of the children, she died 1874-1880. Don't know what DUNN she
married but it appears they married in OH then moved to IN ca 1861,
possibly to Cass Co. Her parents owned land in Tipton Twp.
