Yes, I did contact the cemetery and they were a wonderful help.
That's
how I know Elizabeth died 1922- they didn't have her entire death date.
Thanks Krista
Krista and Bill:
I just returned from a visit to the Mt. Hope Cemetary. The grounds
keepers
maintain a HUGE database on everyone buried in the Cemetary. I suggest
you
contact the cemetary directly. The following is the address and
telephone
number:
Mount Hope Cemetary
City of Logansport, Indiana
1800 Grant Street
Logansport, IN 46947
(219) 753-7082
The purpose of my visit was to locate a distant Cass County, Indiana
Crockett relative who participated in the Civil War. Thanks to the help
of
grounds keepers and their fantastic database and plot maps, I was able
to
find my relative "relatively" quickly!
I plan to make a return trip very soon. If you can come up with the
plot
number and approximate physical location, I'd be more that happy to
shoot a
few photographs of the grave stone(s).
