Hi Sallie,
I do know a few things about the old Button Factory. My Mother worked
there for several years and she ran a punch press and stamped out the
bottoms.
What is your Grandmother name? My Mother may know her.
When the Bottom factory went out of business The General Tire Co. bought
all the property along that street and built their plant.
When I was a Small Child I was in the Bottom Factory several times and
watched my Mother run the press. This was in the 1930s and 40's.
