Thats an idea. Will have to wait until I feel better. I use to write a
lot of letters. Recently I sent one about my 3 uncles during WW1. Haven't
seen it yet but it was published in Valley Morning Star in Harlingen as a
guest writer.
My McConahay cousin told me that he went to a library book sale one time
and found a book that HE had donated on the sale table. He bought it but
was furious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess they thing we are a bunch of nutheads. I
for one get such joy in finding something about my family/ies. My maiden
name was Morris. We also have Gill, Callaway, Reeser, & Meck in
Cass/Pulaski Cos. The McConnaughhays were in White Co. My grgrgrandf. was
the first school teacher in Liberty Twp, later becoming an orator and
pastor. My grandfather was born in a log cabin about 4 miles north of #24
on the County Line Road.
My other family names are: Kinzig, Yount, Jones, Peirce, Elleman, Ward,
Waymire, Crose, Badders, Ranson, Coppock. Sallie
